MAXZILLA, aka the Demolition Sound Team, is a new North West London collective, consisting of the project creators Killa Kela (world renowned Beatbox artist pioneer & vocalist) and Aaron Horn (producer and instrumentalist) along with Guitarist Rikki Lee, drummer Andy Norman.

The Maxzilla sound derives from Street Culture. Blending vocalmanipulation and hybrid sounds with the influences of Art Of Noise, Massive Attack &Deftones. Creating a 00’s nostalgia feel with a mash up of cinematic street sounds and life

Maxzilla at

NottingHill Carnival 2026

Maxzilla made its live debut during the 60th-anniversary Notting Hill Carnival Bank Holiday weekend, held from 29–31 August 2026.

Taking the sound directly into the heart of Carnival, Maxzilla launched live aboard the Drid Dim Tribe float, bringing together an explosive line-up of artists and collaborators.

The performance featured Killa Kela, Aaron Horn, Rikki Lee and Normz Demolition Sound, combining live energy, sound-system culture and Maxzilla’s distinctive musical identity on the streets of Notting Hill.

The appearance marked a major moment for Maxzilla: its first live outing, surrounded by the colour, movement and unmistakable atmosphere of one of London’s most iconic cultural celebrations.

For fans of:

Skindread, Deftones, Knocked Loose,

The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Turnstyle.

DAMAGE is the first release from

North West London collective, designed for maximum and instant

impact. Inspired by Graffiti culture, Graffiti writers, and their prime

objectives of tackling any obstacles that get in their way. With a smooth vocal harmony intro combining Killa Kela’s unique beatboxing sound, clashing with raucous and unapologetic guitar power chords, rolling jungle percussion and pure live energy.

A style that is inherently part of the future Maxzilla signature sound.

Damage is set for a release on the Aaron Horn & Jamie Rodigan imprint Crates Classics for

25th September 2026. This is the first of a monthly musical campaign set to bring authentic

British talent and energy back onto playlists and into venues for 2026 and beyond.

“To make this track we brought together elements of Beatboxing, Nu Metal and South

American rhythms. Merging 00’s MySpace era Electronic Sleaze Rock, with a heavy hat tip

to Clubland.

The end result is hybrid; a band performance attitude with Electronic Dance production…

this is the Maxzilla Demolition Sound.“
